CE, MOC, & Certificates

Annual Meeting attendees can earn Maintenance of Certification (MOC) points from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).

MOC from the ABIM

For physician attendees whose certification is through the ABIM, MOC points are available for meeting attendance and engagement. Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 38.75 MOC Practice Assessment points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.  Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity.  It is the CME activity providers’ responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

To receive ABIM MOC, participants must submit their Meeting Feedback Form, available on the iPlanner, and claim their CME credits for the meeting. Once these steps are completed, ASCO will transmit all information to ABIM on the participant’s behalf.

ABIM MOC points will only be awarded if the Meeting Feedback Form is completed with detailed responses that demonstrate knowledge gained at the Meeting and how it may apply to practice.
