The Annual Meeting Education Committee initiates, develops, plans, and assesses the need for the ASCO Annual Meeting education program. Its goals are to provide education designed to meet the needs of ASCO’s diverse membership and constituencies, provide comprehensive leadership and oversight for the Annual Meeting educational program, and ensure that the Meeting meets and exceeds the quality criteria required of the Society as a continuing medical education provider.

The Committee is organized into several tracks in disease-specific topics and oncology-related subjects. Track names may be modified or new tracks may be created as needed.

Scientific Program Committee

Body

The Annual Meeting Scientific Program Committee and track leaders of the Education Program Committee select abstracts for presentation at the 2024 Annual Meeting and publication in the Program/Proceedings. Members serve a 3-year term on the committee to plan and develop the scientific sessions at the 2024 Annual Meeting. Committee Disclosures are available on the Program Guide or can be viewed here.

Cancer Communications Committee

Body

The Cancer Communications Committee reviews and selects abstracts for inclusion in the Annual Meeting Press Program. Members provide insight and scientific context on the selected abstracts for journalists covering the Annual Meeting.

Annual Meeting Auditors

Body

The 2025 Auditor Disclosures will be posted prior to the Meeting.
